Earlier today, we had the pleasure of chatting with Trump Plaza Residences Jersey City’s Jodi Stasse, who filled us in on all the details of the newest addition to the Trump family. We don’t usually write about Jersey City, because we’re partial to this side of the Hudson, but when we took a look at the amazing offerings at Trump Plaza Jersey City, we couldn’t help but ask for the inside scoop. Trump Plaza Jersey City is the only Trump building in the state; it’s also the tallest residential building in New Jersey. Located at 88 Morgan Street in Jersey City, the building boasts 55 stories and 443 homes, as well as a slew of amenities.

Speaking of your home, the interiors at Trump Plaza are to die for as well. Says sales director Jodi Stasse, “All rooms are situated to have fantastic views of the Hudson River, the Statue of Liberty and the New York skyline. They’re well appointed with stainless steel appliance packages, natural stone counters, and gorgeous hardwood floors in every room.” This is in addition to the soaking tubs and 5-foot showers, as well as the oversized custom windows.

The neighborhood surrounding the building is also quite spectacular. Trump Plaza Jersey City is located right on the waterfront, within walking distance to two PATH stations, the ferry station, and right near great shopping, dining and local nightlife. The building is also just a few minutes from the amazing Liberty State Park.

Currently, Trump Plaza Jersey City is 60% sold out. Of the 443 homes, 265 have sold and another 252 are closed. Says Jodi, “We have had a really strong first quarter. We’ve had a lot of first time buyer activity, which we expected because of the extended credit.” Things have, in short, gone really well for the property, and Jodi adds, “we love our broker participation.”

Homes at Trump Plaza Jersey City range from 1 to 3 bedrooms. 1 bedrooms start at $400k, 2 bedrooms at $600k, and 3 bedrooms at $800k. There are also numerous penthouse residences that also range from 1 to 3 bedrooms; these are price upon request.

Says Stasse, “After hitting the 50% sold mark, we put the final finishing touches on the property. There have been some amazing enhancements to the lobby, the seventh floor amenities, the outdoor space. If anyone is coming back to the property, it looks very different. Even if they’ve been here, they should come back and see it again.”
