Recently The New York Times featured an article about an Arkansas couple living in 375 feet in the Lower East Side. The couple, Mr. Daniel and Dasha Faires, have designed the small space with found objects from the streets of New York. They seem to thrive with design in this small creative space. The article, featured in the Habitats section of the Times, reminds you of the great design challanges of living in New York spaces.
The Faires have worked with life in a dark New York corner. They used mood lighting with candles, dim bulbs and warm colors. Their found objects and strategic shelving work in the space and radiate a warm environment.
Who wouldn’t love a design challange like this? Before you can challange yourself, you need to purchase that unique New York space. If you are interested in finding your own niche in The Low East Side to place you design mark on, please contact CondoDomain. We are up for the challange, are you?
