Out and About in NYC… The Majestic

On this incredible spring day, I couldn’t resist grabbing my camera and heading outdoors.  Apparently, I wasn’t the only New Yorker who felt this way.  The masses had hit the streets, soaking up the brilliant spring sunshine.

Located on Central Park West in Lincoln Square, The Majestic is a magnificent art-deco building that was built in 1929.

Outside the Majestic, Central Park West was swarming with people.  Cindy, age 6, and Louise, age 5, (pictured above), two tourists visiting from Cedar Falls, Iowa, were excited to visit the infamous “Strawberry Fields” and the John Lennon “Imagine” memorial in Central Park.

Their next stop was the American Museum of Natural History with Columbus Circle and the Time Warner Center and Lincoln Center, also in the area, on their list of “Things to Do in NYC.”
