Luxury Market Still Strong

The upscale real estate market in New York City has more than survived the financial downturn–it is thriving. According to a new article in The Wall Street Journal, prices in the luxury property market continue to rise thanks to a number of high-profile deals in the past year. Plaza Hotel condos sell for $19 million


The Wall Street Journal is reporting that two adjacent condos in the Plaza Hotel were sold for $19 million, which will certainly be yet another boon to the luxury real estate market in NYC, which has experienced quite the surge in recent weeks. WSJ is reporting that the buyer is Barbara Garza, a director of Mexican bottler Coca-Cola Femsa, in a deal that closed last week after a rather short negotiating period.

Out and About in NYC… The Time Warner Center

This is the time of year that makes me happy to be a New Yorker.  The combination of sunshine and cool breeze equals perfection, and there’s nothing better than venturing outside to soak it in.  Today I headed to the Time Warner Center located in Columbus Circle for a fantastic setting for people-watching.
